Well, it all started in Melbourne back on November 25, 2003, when Joel Clarke established Distinctive Photography, as "wedding photography specialists"....with a difference.

His aim was simple...to provide stunning images to discerning couples in a clear and straightforward format but without the exhorbitant markups many other wedding photographers were charging.

Joel says, "I'd noticed that there were really only two types of wedding photos available...cheap and nasty or stunning and really expensive...and I wanted to change that.  I thought there must be a way to deliver high quality images to our clients without charging the inflated prices most of the other wedding photographers were charging."
